  29. 1.  WHAT IS CAMTASIA STUDIO?

  32. Camtasia Studio is a suite of tools that allow you to record screen activity,
  33. edit and narrate the clips, and publish the finished presentation in many
  34. standard file formats and locations.

  36. Camtasia Studio includes all the tools you need to record, annotate,
  37. and produce your videos:
  38.   o  Camtasia Studio      - Edit and produce videos in standard file formats
  39.   o  Camtasia Recorder    - Make a video of anything on your screen
  40.   o  Camtasia MenuMaker   - Create a CD front end menu for your videos

  49. To run Camtasia Studio, your system must meet these specifications:

  51.   o  Microsoft Windows XP or Windows Vista
  52.   o  Microsoft DirectX 9 or later version
  53.   o  1.0 GHz processor minimum ~ Recommended: 3.0 GHz
  54.   o  500 MB RAM minimum ~ Recommended: 2.0 GB
  55.   o  115 MB of hard-disk space for program installation
  56.   o  Camtasia Studio Add-in for PowerPoint requires PowerPoint 2000, 2002,
  57.      2003, or 2007
  58.   o  Production to the Apple iPod/iPod Touch/iPhone format requires Apple
  59.      QuickTime 7.2 or later version

  179.     1. Run the Windows Control Panel.
  180.     2. Open the Add/Remove Programs applet (Programs and Features applet on
  181.        Vista) from Control Panel.
  182.     3. Select Camtasia Studio 6 from the list of applications that can be
  183.        uninstalled by Windows.
  184.     4. Click the Add/Remove button (Uninstall button on Vista) to uninstall
  185.        Camtasia Studio 6.

  261.   o  Camtasia Recorder generally cannot capture DVD video displays.
  262.   o  Camtasia Recorder cannot always capture audio from other applications
  263.      (e.g. Windows Media Player) depending on your system's sound card and
  264.      drivers.
